Like G_Man says, the problem has been around for months. There's others (like titlebars reverting to the old Windows-7 shell style, or Acrobat/Reader hanging on startup for close to a minute or more)) that have been around for years.
Oct 24, 2023 · Go into the Acrobat/Reader settings and disable the PDF thumbnails. After installing, open the PowerToys settings (double click the taskbar icon), navigate to "File Explorer add-ons" and check the 2 options for Portable Document Format. One option is for the Preview Pane and the other is for Thumbnails icons.
