Chevy malibu stalls when stopping

2011 Chevy Malibu stalls at a stop sign when cold. My friend has a 2011 Chevy Malibu with the 4 cylinder engine. It has 144,000 miles. Her car performs well and has no engine codes but it will randomly stall at stop lights when it's cold. When it's warmed up, the stalling never occurs. It will start right up after the fact though.

My friend's minivan has a problem whereby it will stall when you come to a stop only after it warms up. Runs fine when cold. You can restart the minivan, but have to pop it into gear at a higher rev (auto trans), otherwise it'll just stall again.
