So far in both my CVA Optima V2 and my son's Wolf we've shot both Harvester crush rib & smooth black sabots, T/C Superglide sabots, Hornady sabots that come with SST hi-speed low drag, and Hornady .44/.50 & .45/.50 sabots. I use 250 grain hornady sst with 120 grains of blackhorn, killed 4 this year. A 7 point and 3 doe's ,the optima v2 lr is a good muzzleloader. BUT .... the CVA Wolf is still a great ML with a very good price point. I will be upgrading in the fall of 2015 - maybe this year if I sell my Wolf. One more thing which is just as important as the ML.
