The IOD fuse removal method has been used by many of us and works great. (Another forum member wired a hot 12v lead from the MH to the Jeep instead of disconnecting anything. It worked for him - offsetting the key-on draw of the Jeep.) I would recommend removing the IOD fuse as it has been a popular method and works well.
