The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education., At the time of her untimely death, Dr. Brumit was an appointee to the Forensic Science Accreditation Board and to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as a Team Adam Consultant; and, she was soon to be appointed Associate Professor at the Lincoln Memorial University, College of Dental Medicine to teach in the DMD Program.
