No chance, the first serial numbers ran from 1- ending in 1915 at 450000, models 1881 up to the 1897. The early first 1893s were in 80000 range. When company was sold in 1915, new serials started in and were in the same place, production stopped for WW1 and when resumed numbers were placed on lower tang and that's when 18 was dropped from Model.
