Long time lurker, first time trying to make a post that will hopefully shed some light on an issue I've found quite difficult to master. Quite commonly I get fluffy/tomentose mycelium growing in tufts on an otherwise rhizomorphic plate, and I've never been quite sure if its some sort of white mold or just a patch of different genetics.
