Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset

Apr 20, 2008 · The simplest thing to do is to take it back to the dealer. My 2008 Xterra had the VDC/slip light on when it was delivered. Just took it back the next day and they fixed it. Not really sure what the problem was. They said the steering angle detector (or something like that) had to be re-adjusted and the computer had to be reset.

Yesterday while parked in a parking lot the VDC/ABS/BRAKE and SLIP lights all came on. When I turn off the car and then it back on, none of the lights come on until I start driving. I looked online for a fix and get everything from a blown ABS/STOP LIGHT fuse to replacing the ABS sensor. There were different light patterns but mostly it seemed to start with flickering Diff Lock light, then VDC Off light, then Diff Lock goes out and ABS, VDC Off, and VDC Slip are all on.
