Back in January 2018 when Sig pulled the first release of the P365 one of the changes made to the P365 was the Recoil Spring along with the addition of the X-Ray3 Sights. As far as an additional change to the recoil spring I am sure that it occurred but I am not sure of the exact date.The recoil on the XL slide is very manageable with either grip and is less than a regular p365. The regular P365 with icarus grip and dpm recoil system has slightly less muzzle rise vs P365XL with oem sig grip when slowly firing.
