The inspiration for our foundation comes from its namesake. Dedicated to 1stLt Travis Manion, USMC, who made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of his patrol in 2007, TMF carries on the legacy of selfless service and leadership embodied by Travis and all those who have served, or continue to serve, our nation.

Just by accepting that invite, it put me on a path of healing and helped me redefine my purpose. By continuing to get involved, I transformed from the quiet veteran sitting in the back of the room lost in his thoughts, to an inspired character mentor for the next generation of leaders with another organization, Travis Manion Foundation.Prior to Travis Manion Foundation, Ryan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Cabrini College in 2004, and would then go on to launch two very successful businesses. However, a calling to public service remained in her mind, and she began a new venture with the Bucks County Department of Housing and Community Development.Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations.
